  1. Special Popup Menu

  3. Clicking the Special Popup button ﾂ      at the top of the file list window pops up a menu containing the following commands that can act on the currently selected items in the list:

  5. Change Names...
  6.    Lets you change multiple file names at the same time. For example, use it to add or remove name extensions like 窶˜.txt窶™ from a group of files, or prefix a collection of file names with one or more characters.

  8. Rename Sequentially...
  9.    Lets you sequentially rename the currently selected items in the file list with names like Hello 100, Hello 110, Hello 120, etc.. You specifiy the base name, the first number, and the increment.

  11. Delete Resource Forks
  12.    Does just what it says. Use with caution, as many files become useless without their resources.

  14. Delete Data Forks
  15.    Does just what it says.
  16.  
  17. Erase Files
  18.    Writes zeroes over both the data and resource forks of a file, and then deletes the file.

  20. Add to Get Info Creator Menu
  21.    Adds the creators of all selected items in the list to the Creator: popup menu in the Get Info window. If you use the Find to create a list of all your applications, you can select the ones you wish to appear in the Get Info creator popup and put them there using this command.
